Eleven-year-old Halle Banks tensed up as a customer walked toward her and ordered two glasses of lemonade during the Erie Farmers Market. Halle scrunched her face and looked at the ground as she did the math in her head before turning back to the customer. "That will be $5.50 please," Halle said, her blue and pink braces shining through a timid smile.
Beaming with delight beside her, 9-year-old lemonade stand owner Jack Bonneau shouted "Great job!" as Halle made change from the nearby money box.
